Learning Challenge: DESKERCISE!!!

DESKERCISE!!!!!
This assignment was so fun. I find myself sitting at my desk a lot, or even in class sometimes and in need of a good stretch but have no idea how to do it. I read the Deskercise: 17 Exercises You Can Do At or Near Your Desk and found a couple of stretches that interest me. I can't wait to try them out this week.

1) Bruxism Exercise. I like this one because I've found my job popping and locking a little bit lately. When reading the article I tempted out the deskercise for a few seconds and instantly felt relief in my jaw.

2) Windmills. I typically find relief through arm stretches when I'm sitting, but I feel as if it only relieves my desire to move for as short amount of time. I think that physically swinging my arms around will give me some of the same relief, but also be a longer fix to my desire to fidget and not be confined to a desk all day.

3) the last tip the article gives to just add movement to my day will probably be an easy one. Sitting kills, and I feel like I spend most of my days not moving than I do moving. I think it will be super easy to park further in the back of the parking lot, choose the stairs instead of the elevator, and even take walks around my neighborhood after I've been studying for a while.
